Aeromodeling drives me crazy

Flying model planes is even more thrilling than watching a huge Boeing soar overhead. With a radio controller, you can directly connect with these small aircraft and guide them through the sky. I still remember the mix of nervousness and excitement I felt during the first flight of our big, slow flyer named Oldfoggy.

We built Oldfoggy at our university using pre-made parts like the electronic control system. However, we had to design the main aerofoil and other aerodynamic components ourselves. This was the most challenging part of building the plane, as the design dictates the model's overall performance and characteristics. We had to make several adjustments based on experimental results to get it just right.

The first time I built a model plane, I encountered many issues with both the model and the control system. Solving these problems was part of the fun, though! Building the plane was a blast, but nothing compared to the joy I felt when it finally took to the sky under my control. It was a complex project, but my professor, Mr. Vinal G. Virani, provided invaluable help.

In conclusion, working with the sky and flying a plane I designed was an incredible experience. Thanks for reading!
